His breathing tube came out without a problem last night and he seemed to have gotten a great sleep last night. He was very resposive this morning and he squeezed my hand! I almost lost it...he is also moving his arm around and his leg. Soon he will be out of icu and into a quieter, more comfortable room! I am so glad I was able to see all this today before I fly back to winnipeg...it is going to be very hard to have to only hear about his next steps, but it's not about me; it's about him getting better!
